Sellevo Payout Policy

Everything you need to know about how and when you get paid — commissions, timelines, holds, and your responsibilities.

By using Sellevo, you agree to the terms below concerning commissions, currency conversions, payout timelines, and vendor obligations. This policy forms part of the Sellevo Terms of Service.

Payout Schedule

Payouts are processed only after funds are successfully settled and cleared by our payment gateway. Settlement does not automatically guarantee immediate payout eligibility, as transactions may be subject to internal review, verification, or risk assessment.

Platform Commission Structure

Sellevo charges a platform commission on every successful order. This commission is automatically deducted before vendor payout.

commission per transaction

Commission is calculated based on the total confirmed payment amount before payout. Upgrading to Premium saves you 3% on every sale.

Payment Gateway Fees
  • Payment gateway processing fees (e.g., Paystack, Flutterwave) may apply per transaction.
  • These fees are either included in the total charge to the customer or deducted before vendor payout as shown in your dashboard.
  • All deductions are transparently displayed in your earnings breakdown.

Currency Conversion
  • All non-Naira payments are converted using the official settlement rate provided by our payment gateway.
  • The applied conversion rate and final payout amount will be visible in your vendor dashboard.

FX rates fluctuate daily. The rate used is locked at the time of gateway settlement, not at the time of purchase.

Payout Method
  • Payouts are made to your registered Nigerian bank account or USDT wallet (if eligible).
  • KYC verification must be completed before withdrawals are approved.
  • Failed payouts will be re-attempted within 72 hours or returned to your vendor wallet.

Payout Holds & Risk Control

Payouts may be delayed, split, scheduled, or held under the following circumstances:

  • Fraud suspicion, unusual transaction activity, or chargeback investigations.
  • Incomplete or pending KYC verification.
  • High-value transactions requiring additional verification.
  • New vendor accounts within initial review period.
  • Customer disputes, complaints, or refund requests.
  • Violation of Sellevo policies.
  • Banking compliance checks or regulatory reviews.
⚠️
Sellevo reserves the right to apply temporary holds ranging from 3–15 business days depending on risk level. High-value transactions may be subject to extended verification before release. Daily payout limits may apply per vendor for operational and security purposes.

Sellevo may retain a reasonable percentage of vendor earnings as a temporary risk reserve where necessary to protect against future disputes or chargebacks.

Chargebacks & Disputes
  • Disputed, refunded, or reversed amounts will be deducted from your available balance.
  • If your balance is insufficient to cover a chargeback, you remain liable for the outstanding amount.
  • Vendors must provide valid proof of delivery, shipment confirmation, or service fulfillment within 3 working days when requested.
  • Sellevo may apply a 7–15 business day hold on large transactions or accounts flagged for review.
  • Repeated disputes or excessive chargebacks may result in extended holds, reserve requirements, or account suspension.

Vendor Responsibilities
  • Ensure bank or wallet details are correct and active.
  • Deliver products/services professionally and promptly.
  • Handle customer support and refund requests responsibly.
  • Comply with all applicable tax laws in your jurisdiction.

Bank & Wallet Responsibility
  • Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring their registered bank accounts or wallet addresses are valid, compliant, and capable of receiving commercial funds.
  • Once a payout has been successfully processed to the vendor's provided bank account or wallet, Sellevo is not responsible for subsequent restrictions, freezes, investigations, or delays initiated by the receiving financial institution.
  • Any resolution required due to bank restrictions must be handled directly by the vendor with their financial institution.

Platform Rights & Acceptance
  • Sellevo may update this policy with notice to vendors.
  • We reserve the right to reverse, delay, split, or suspend payouts where policy violations or risk factors are identified.
  • FX rates may be adjusted in line with official settlement rates provided by payment gateways.
  • Sellevo may impose transaction monitoring measures to ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.
